About the Coven
How it started
The Vampire Social Club began as a Meetup group in the Santa Ana, California area. Born from our sister group The Horror Hounds, a horror fan meetup group, we made another home for goths and alts for going to goth clubs. We organized movie nights, goth club outings, craft meetups, art walks, concerts, potlucks, and all manner of dark gatherings.
Where we are now
At the end of the day, we are a group of friends who like to hang out. We now organize everything through our Discord server. That's where hang out events get announced and organized.
What we do
We go to goth nights and dance. We watch horror movies at the Frida Cinema and eat at the food hall beforehand. We go to haunted mazes, emo nights, burlesque shows, metal concerts, night markets, and art walks. We do crafts. We have picnics. Sometimes we just meet at a brewery and talk about spooky things. There's no membership fee, we don't do this to make money.
